高中时写的关于基金会的演讲稿

高中时期我们班里英语课上老师实行一个积分制鼓励学生学英语，分数低的同学要受到“惩罚”，大多是跳舞一类的，也能提高课堂趣味度。当时我也不知道咋脑抽了，想上台演讲，向班里同学推荐基金会，于是我写了一篇稿，也向英语老师写了个申请书，希望用半节英语课讲个英文演讲稿关于scp基金会的。

当时学生基本没课下主动学英语的，有的也只是看美剧听英文歌接触一下，我这种写英文稿基本不会有，即使有也会被当成癔症行为。但当时也是在基金会中分一些群里待了一段时间，天天想着高考完写scp（虽说现在大学了也懒得写了（哭笑）），属于犯云瘾了。于是就火急火燎写了一篇宣称scp的英文演讲稿，后来得到英语老师大加赞扬，后来又写了个讲基金会里的超形上学的，再后来高三就没有了。

之前演讲时用的是word文档，后来写第二篇关于超形上学时觉得应该让同学们见识一下基金会网站的特点，于是把演讲稿做成了一个黑市页面。正好当时黑市主页放着ChatGPT不要梯子就能用的链接，也给同学们推荐一下。总之这篇演讲稿在黑市页面中待了一段时间，当时一个标签没打估计你们都没看到过，后来觉得不合适删了。

这几天觉得我写的这东西我自己藏着也不太甘心，于是又好好整理了一番，发黑市里了。大家就当看看乐子，我也就把这个页面当做我的赛博备忘录了。

As we all know, the unit we are studying now is about science fiction. Today, I stand there, want to share a unique literary form which was created by many people together—the SCP foundation.

Mankind in its present state has been around for a quarter of a million years, yet only a small fraction of that has been of any significance.So, what did we do for nearly 250,000 years? We huddled in caves and around small fires, fearful of things that we didn’t understand. It was more than explaining why the sun came up, it was the mystery of enormous birds with heads of men and rocks that came to life. So we called them “gods” and “demons”, begged them to spare us, and prayed for salvation.In time, their numbers dwindled and ours rose. The world began to make more sense when there were fewer things to fear, yet the unexplained can never truly go away, as if the universe demands the absurd and impossible.Mankind must not go back to hiding in fear. No one else will protect us, and we must stand up for ourselves.While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane and normal world. We secure. We contain. We protect.

The SCP foundation created a fictional world for us, full of strange and peculiar things. Like Freemasonry, the foundation was set up as an organization hiding behind the world to protect humanity from the threat of abnormal things.Since its creation in 2007, it has become a mature form of online literature. In order to make the world more real, authors use the language of the paper style, which we call ‘Clinic Tone’.We comply with the CC-BY-SA, the Intellectual Property Agreement, and this speech also follows.

So what is the foundation like? We are cold. Some special containment produces maybe cruel in order to fit the setting. But we aren’t cruel, We describe horror monsters to show responsibility and accountability of the foundation’s employees. We full of magic. We use SCP items to express the crazy imagination in our hearts. We use SCPs‘ stories to show our thinking of the world. We create reality. We tell the story of foundation and its peers. There are even ethical committees in place.

But we are differ from the normal magic and science fiction. We use Hume fields to explain superpowers and EVE particles to master magic. This is the world we created, the world we love.This excellent subculture has spread around the world.

Thirteen countries have established their own branches, and China is no exception. When Chinese culture were mixed with its magic, writers from the Chinese branch created works with Chinese style, such as the “Chinese Alien Society” and “Kuiyang Group”. More importantly, some authors write in classical Chinese and even post it on the international website to tell foreigns the stories about China.Not only do we use our warmth to create cold words, but we also add warmth to the cold words.

In my opinion, the purpose of creating novels is to reflect real-life problems and highlight the importance of changing them. Just like “Strange Stories from a Studio”, our fantasy works can also be thought deeply. The love from mother was expressed in SCP-3637 which makes people cry; Here is a respect from the sacrificial man to another in SCP-1983; Sacrifice in SCP-1730 and the care from SCP-1762 are both touch-moving. Of course, there are also many excellent stories in the Chinese branch. SCP-CN-985 inspires me to study hard; SCP-CN-1500 told me about the rise and fall of a minority; SCP-CN-2003 has a complaint against campus bullying.

The beauty of the foundation can’t be expressed in this simple word. Novels are all expectations for a better life. Ten thousand years is too long, seize every moment. Let’s take action now and fight for a better future.
